On October 7 & 8, 2025, school and emergency management leaders gathered at the School Safety Workshop in Rochester, Minnesota.
A dynamic event focused on strengthening school preparedness and response. Participants also engaged in interactive breakout sessions, where school officials collaborated on real-world threat scenarios, discussed best practices, and developed actionable strategies to enhance school safety and resilience.
This year’s workshop featured Dr. C.J. Huff, nationally recognized response and recovery expert for schools, who shared critical insights from his experience leading communities through crisis and building community resiliency.
